Dr. April Givens is a licensed psychotherapist, LPCS, psychobiologist, herbalist, certified trauma therapist, and certified hypnotherapist. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She completed her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and her PhD in Counseling and Human Services from Capella University. Dr. Givens has over 12 years experience working in clinics, courts, private practice, instructor, and a speaker.
